My name is Chelsey - I’m a wedding & portrait photographer based out of upstate NY, passionate about capturing all things love + adventure. I started my business over 10 years ago & went full time about 5 years ago! Before going full time, I worked as a registered nurse - sooo, rest assured that if anyone gets hurt during our session, I am prepared to take action 🤣
Aside from being a photographer, I’m also a mom, a wife, a fitness enthusiast, & a lover of books & being outside! I have two (almost three) kiddos, and plan to homeschool them in the future alongside running my business. My husband works for himself as well, usually doing carpentry work.
When it comes to photographing, I really enjoy capturing true, raw emotion. I’m so over the super posed/forced shots! My motto about life in general but also about my work is “focus more on how it feels, & less on how it looks” because I’ve found that this concept is truly what creates the most beautiful, emotional & AUTHENTIC images. My goal is always to help my clients feel 100% relaxed & comfortable working with me, so that you’re able to be your true selves & I’m able to capture you in that genuine state. & we’ll do all of this, while also having a great freakin’ time together 🤘🏼
